Ruud van Nistelrooy must surely be on red alert after what Leicester City teenager has just done

Leicester City have a number of talented teenagers on their books at the moment.

Leicester’s under-21s are one of the best academy teams in the country and rather remarkably, their star players are actually teenagers.

Jake Evans, who recently turned 17, is the top scorer for the reserve side and leads the way in the Premier League 2 with nine goals.

Louis Page, 16, is another exciting talent emerging through the ranks at Seagrave and is impressing on the international stage with England’s youth teams.

But, there’s one star in particular who’s now really making a case to start for the first team after what he’s just done over on international duty over the last week.

Jeremy Monga absolutely tearing it up for England’s under-16s

Jeremy Monga is the jewel of Leicester’s academy and is widely regarded as the best 15-year-old in the country.

Manchester City want to sign Monga this summer and there’s even been talk of Real Madrid and Barcelona keeping tabs.

The tricky wide player has been on international duty with England’s under-16s over the last week and he’s been captaining the Three Lions.

In his three outings against France, Denmark and Columbia, Monga has netted in each game and laid on two assists, which has led to yet more attention around the academy space.

Jeremy Monga is the winger talent I like most coming through. It’s inevitable every top English club will be in for him and offering big money too.

Interested to see where he goes, IF he goes. But if he stays at Leicester, he could break into the first team in the championship. https://t.co/8kZA4YihhS pic.twitter.com/pVg31biO3d

Van Nistelrooy will surely give Monga his Leicester City debut

Monga might only have 11 games left to make his mark in a Leicester shirt.

With so many clubs circling ahead of the summer transfer window, it seems likely he’ll be on the move to one of Europe’s top clubs.

So surely Ruud van Nistelrooy will give him his debut in the coming weeks with Leicester fighting for their Premier League status.

He could hardly do any worse than Jordan Ayew and Bobby De Cordova Reid.
