Alisson Becker feels he put in the best performance of his career in Liverpool’s 1-0 win at Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The Reds were under pressure for the vast majority of the game in France as PSG impressed and created a string of chances.
It was an unusual sight for those who have watched the Premier League this season as Liverpool have been so comfortable on their march towards the title, but were comfortably second best against PSG.
However, Alisson kept his team in the game with the Reds goalkeeper in sensational form as he kept the home team out time after time.
The Brazilian made a range of stops, from blocking one-on-ones, to flying, diving saves, while he was also strong in the air from balls into the box.

The 32-year-old kept the game goalless and Liverpool, who had barely threatened all game, managed to pinch a huge win through substitute Harvey Elliott on 87 minutes.
Liverpool still have to handle a second leg at Anfield and know they are facing a very good team, but have secured a huge result in the away leg of the last 16 tie.

Alisson was asked if it was the best performance of his season and said to TNT Sports: ‘Yeah, probably of my life I think, so far.
‘The manager was telling us how hard it was going to be to play against PSG, how good they are with the ball, we have to be ready to suffer.
‘At the end, Harvey coming in and scoring the goal, it’s unbelievable, a great story for us, a great night.’
The Brazil international made nine saves while his opposite number for PSG, Gianluigi Donnarumma made none.

Elliott spoke in complete awe of his team’s goalkeeper, saying: ‘I’ve got no words, to be honest. This guy is unbelievable. The best in the world and each and every game he shows it, keeps us in so many games.
‘Tonight it’s my opportunity to repay this man. Without him, I don’t know where we’d be.’
Alisson had a word of warning, despite the celebrations, ahead of the second leg next week at Anfield.
‘We know we have to improve for the game at home,’ he said. ‘We have to recognise so much quality on the PSG team with the ball, having possession, creating chances.
‘It was a tough night for us but with a happy end.’

Reds boss Arne Slot says he has never worked with a ‘keeper he can produce the displays that Alisson can, which is no surprise as he sees the Brazilian as the very best on the planet.
‘I don’t think I’ve worked with a goalkeeper that has played at this level, which is normal because he’s the best in the world,’ said the Dutchman.
‘I had some very good players as a manager but never had the best goalkeeper in the world, that I think he is and he showed that today.’
