On Wednesday afternoon, the Chargers announced that they’ve placed an exclusive rights tender on tight end/fullback Tucker Fisk.
In his first year with the Bolts, Fisk played in a career-high nine regular seasons games where he caught seven receptions for 39 yards. In his first postseason game, Fisk caught a 15-yard pass against the Texans.
During the 2024 season, Fisk was mainly used as an additional blocker in multiple-tight end sets alongside Will Dissly, Scott Matlock, and Hayden Hurst. In certain moments throughout the year, however, Fisk would come through with a short reception to help provide a spark for the offense. While his stats don’t jump out of the box score, Fisk apparently did enough in his limited role to leave an impression on the Chargers staff.
Fisk played collegiately at Stanford from 2018-2021 where he saw time at both tight end and defensive end. He went undrafted in 2022 before signing with the Atlanta Falcons. Prior to 2024, Fisk had just one career reception for nine yards.
