The [Los Angeles Chargers](/nfl/team/_/name/lac/los-angeles-chargers) on Wednesday night released five-time Pro-Bowler [Joey Bosa](https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/_/id/3051389/joey-bosa).
Bosa had been with the Chargers since 2016, when they selected him with the No. 3 pick in the NFL draft.
He was the NFL's Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2016.
