The Milwaukee Bucks handily defeated the injury-plagued Dallas Mavericks by the score of 137-107 on Wednesday night. And while there were many notable performances, it was Giannis Antetokounmpo who, once again, rose above the rest to put on a stellar and proficient performance.
A day after recording his sixth triple-double of the season against the Atlanta Hawks, Giannis scored 32 points, grabbed 15 rebounds, and had four assists. The most impressive thing about this stat line is that he accomplished all of it in just 25 minutes of play.
With his first basket in the third quarter, Giannis also made some NBA history.

With a left-handed layup early in the third quarter, Giannis scored his 21st and 22nd points of the night. They were also his 19,999th and 20,000th points for his career. At 30 years and 89 days old, the Greek Freak is the sixth-youngest player to reach the milestone:
Giannis Antetokounmpo is 22 points away from 20,000 in his career.
At 30 years and 89 days old today, he would become the 6th youngest player to reach that milestone.

As one can see from the graphic above, only LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, Wilt Chamberlain, and Michael Jordan were younger when they scored their 20,000th career points.
Giannis also is ninth active NBA player with 20,000 career points. The other eight are James, Durant, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Stephen Curry, DeMar DeRozan, Chris Paul, and Damian Lillard.

As indicated by the final score, and the fact Giannis only played 25 minutes, there were many Bucks players that had great performances against a Mavericks team that had seven players out with injuries.
Lillard had 34 points, three rebounds, five assists, and two steals
Kyle Kuzma had 17 points and five rebounds
Jericho Sims had 10 points (5/5 shooting) and eight rebounds
Kevin Porter Jr. had 10 points, 11 rebounds, and 14 assists (off the bench)
AJ Green had 18 points
Brook Lopez only scored two points, but he also had two blocks. He passed Larry Nance for 19th on the all-time blocks list with his performance.
