Doom and gloom continues to surround Leicester City, and not even the turn of a new month can inspire any positivity among the fanbase.
Further misery was piled onto Leicester City a week ago as West Ham clinched a 2-0 victory at the London Stadium.
The fallout from that defeat, their 11th in 12 in league games, saw fans call for Ruud van Nistelrooy to be sacked while the players looked disinterested.
Leicester’s trip to Chelsea promises to see their situation worsen, with former manager Enzo Maresca looking to inflict more pain onto Van Nistelrooy.
So, ahead of their clash at Stamford Bridge this weekend, here’s a round-up of the latest news from the King Power Stadium.

Leicester City will not sack Ruud van Nistelrooy
It’s only taken a few months, but the fans have already turned on Van Nistelrooy. Defeats against Brentford and West Ham caused an outpour of anger on social media.
No one is confident the Dutchman can turn the situation around, and with only 11 matches left, supporters have already accepted relegation.

Unfortunately for the many who want him to exit the club, Van Nistelrooy retains the faith of the Leicester board and could remain at the King Power beyond this season.
Leicester’s owners feel they’ve not supported him enough in the market, and he deserves a chance to mould the squad how he looks, which is another bonkers decision if true.
Man City set to launch a bid for Jeremy Monga
The incredible talent developing through the academy is about the only positive at Leicester City, and leading the next generation of stars is 15-year-old Jeremy Monga.
The exciting winger is developing rapidly at such a young age, already training with the first team and flourishing for the under-21s.
Van Nistelrooy wants to keep Monga however, he can’t sign a professional contract till he turns 17 in July 2026, and this means other clubs can swoop in.
Manchester City are interested in Monga alongside Chelsea, and the former could reportedly launch a move for the 2009-born star, which could see yet another youngster leave prematurely.
Monga stars for England under-16s
Speaking of the wonderkid once more, it isn’t just at Leicester where the teenager is garnering attention, as Monga has produced some unbelievable performances for England’s under-16s.
In his three outings against France, Denmark and Columbia, Monga has netted in each game and laid on two assists.
The captain has led by example on the pitch with a string of brilliant displays, and Van Nistelrooy should hand Monga his debut to reward his stunning form.
Enzo Maresca expecting Trevoh Chalobah to return for Chelsea
Leicester travel to Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday and an injury update has emerged from Maresca’s camp.
The Italian has revealed that defender Trevoh Chalobah is available for Chelsea after injury, whereas attackers Noni Madueke and Nicolas Jackson are ruled out till April with hamstring injuries.
Chalobah has been vital for the Blues since being recalled from his loan at Crystal Palace, with the 25-year-old hoping to start the game against the Foxes.
