Chelsea transfer target Jamie Gittens will be sold by Borussia Dortmund for between €60m (£50m) to €70m (£58m) this summer if his club don’t qualify for the Champions League, according to reports in Germany.
Dortmund were originally hoping to get as much as €100m (£83m) for the England Under 21 international, but Sky Germany claim that the Bundesliga side could be forced into lowering their valuation. Fans on X are still not keen on the club pursuing Gittens even if the player is available for a cheaper price:

Chelsea made an enquiry in January
Trusted journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed a couple of months ago that the Blues were interested in recruiting the 20-year-old.
With Mykhailo Mudryk provisionally suspended due to a failed drugs test, head coach Enzo Maresca is keen to have more competition for Jadon Sancho on the left flank.
There will be competition for Gittens
Chelsea are by no means the only club interested in the winger. Sky Germany say that Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham also hold an interest.
Ultimately, the race for Gittens’s services may depend on who is willing to meet Dortmund’s new asking price.
As things stand, his club are not expected to qualify for the Champions League. They are currently sitting in 10th place; six points off the top four.
