Leeds United have been linked with AC Milan loanee Tammy Abraham but West Ham have made early contact over a potential deal, as per TEAMtalk.
Leeds United are still working towards their Premier League return but they’re in a good position. Heading into the final 11 games, LUFC are top of the Championship table and five points ahead of Burnley in 3rd.
As such, the Whites are planning for two summer scenarios: one where they are promoted to the Premier League, and one where they stay in the Championship.

The targets will differ heavily depending on how the season ends, and one player linked who will only be a feasible signing in the top-flight is AC Milan loan striker Tammy Abraham.
Leeds United were linked with the former Chelsea man alongside a host of Premier League clubs, one being West Ham. Now, TEAMtalk states the Hammers have made early contact over a potential deal.
They state that the club have asked for preliminary information regarding his situation with Abraham open to returning to the Premier League.
The 27-year-old is only on loan at AC Milan and while there is an option to buy him from AS Roma, they have no intention to do so. That could open the door for LUFC or other clubs to swoop in.
A Premier League signing
It’s safe to say a deal for Tammy Abraham would be a statement of intent from Leeds United if they were to pull it off back in the Premier League.

A lot needs to fall in place for it to happen, but it would no doubt excite fans.

The 11-time England international might not have had the most prolific of seasons with eight goals and four assists in 35 games, and his last campaign at Roma was disappointing following such a strong start.
However, 26 goals in 89 Premier League games is a strong tally, not to mention his stunning Championship form in loans with Aston Villa and Bristol City when he was making his breakthrough.

Whether Leeds United win promotion or not, it feels as though there is change afoot in the striking department this summer.
Joel Piroe will be backed to lead the line in either league but a more proven top-flight option will likely be sought. That could impact Mateo Joseph’s future, though he seems a great understudy to develop into a future star.
Joe Gelhardt may well make a permanent exit as he catches the eye on loan at Hull City while doubts over the future of LUFC legend Patrick Bamford persist.
