Payton Pritchard, with 43 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists, and Derrick White, who scored 41 points, became the first duo in Celtics franchise history to each score 40+ points in a single game.
They also became the first teammates to each make 9+ three-pointers in a single game. Pritchard shot 10-of-16 from beyond the arc, while White made 9-of-17 threes.
Their combined total of 19 made threes set an NBA record for the most threes made by two teammates in a single game.
Additionally, Pritchard joined James Harden and Damian Lillard as the only players in history to reach the 40-point, 10-rebound, 10-three-point club.
Pritchard reflected on the historic night during the post-game press conference, expressing his amazement at being part of such a milestone.
"Unbelievable," Pritchard said. "It was amazing to watch, because some of the shots [White] was hitting were incredible too—he wasn’t even hitting rim, just straight water. So, definitely fun to be out there with him and do it on a special night like this."
