On Wednesday, Harvey Elliott came off the bench to score the winner for Liverpool against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, who has managed 30 goals and 22 assists this season, didn’t trouble the opposition much at Parc des Princes. Arne Slot replaced him with Elliott in the 86th minute and the 21-year-old scored the winner a minute later.
Despite securing a crucial win, French newspaper [L’Equipe](http://lequipe.fr/) have given lower ratings to the Reds than PSG.
L’Equipe gave 5.8/10 average for PSG, with their goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma, getting the least at 4/10. The average rating for the Merseyside club was 4.7/10 and it would have been lower if not for Alisson Becker.
The Ligue 1 club dominated the tie with 71% possession and 10 shots on target compared to only one from Liverpool. Despite this, PSG weren’t able to beat Reds goalkeeper Alisson Becker.
Alisson got 9/10 and the highest rated player of the tie. Both Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konaté were rated 6/10 and Alexis Mac Allister got 5/10.
Liverpool stars Salah and Andrew Robertson both got 3/10, while 4/10 was given to Diogo Jota, Luis Díaz, Dominik Szoboszlai, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Ryan Gravenberch.
The return leg will take place at Anfield on March 11th.
