West Ham could be in line to bring Kyle Walker-Peters to the London Stadium in the summer.
The 27-year-old has had a difficult campaign for Southampton as Ivan Juric’s side sit rock bottom of the Premier League after 27 games.
This is destined to leave the Saints in the Championship ahead of the new season, which could result in a mass exodus from St Mary’s in the upcoming window.
The Hammers could look to take advantage of this and make a move for the two-cap England international.

It is likely to be a summer of change in East London as Graham Potter looks set to take charge of his first full transfer window at the helm of the Irons.

This could see many incoming and outgoing deals go on in E20 with Southampton defender Walker-Peters potentially set to become one of the first.
The former Tottenham man has been linked heavily with a move away from the south coast for many years without a deal going through but his five-year spell at St Mary’s could be set to come to an end.
Ex-WHUEmployee has reported (6 March) that the Hammers are interested in the Englishman due to his versatility which could help to replace an exit-bound duo.
They said: “We are very keen on Kyle Walker-Peters. The fact he can operate as both a right and left back is very appealing, especially with both Vladimir Coufal and Emerson’s futures at the club looking doubtful.”

It is fair to say that the Englishman could prove to be a useful addition for the Hammers, especially if they are to lose multiple full back options.
Coufal has been heavily linked with a move away from the London Stadium as his contract looks set to come to an end as the season finishes.
Similarly, Emerson could be on his way out of East London with a return to Italy potentially on the cards ahead of the summer.
