Everton are working to identify a replacement for Jack Harrison as they have no plans to extend his stay beyond the end of the season.
That is according to former Man United and West Ham scout Mick Brown, who worked closely with David Moyes at the London Stadium, as he exclusively told Football Insider that the boss does not see Harrison as part of his plans.
The 28-year-old has featured less prominently since Sean Dyche’s departure, with Jesper Lindstrom chosen to play a more regular role in the starting XI.
However, Brown told Football Insider last month that Everton want to sign the next Iliman Ndiaye as Moyes plans to add more flair and creativity to his side.
This comes after Football Insider revealed on 28 February that Everton will not sign Harrison permanently after his successive loan seasons at Goodison Park.
Instead, the winger is expected to head back to Leeds United, who are on course to achieve promotion back to the Premier League this season.

Daniel Farke will then make a decision about whether he will be integrated back into their squad or if he will be moved on again come the summer.

Jack Harrison and Jesper Lindstrom to be replaced at Everton
Brown told Football Insider on 22 February that Everton plan to sign a new winger in place of Lindstrom as Moyes is set to make a decision about his permanent move from Napoli.
Now, the former scout who has a wealth of experience in top-level player recruitment after over a decade at Man United during their most successful period, has insisted that Harrison is also expected to leave and signing a winger will become Moyes’ top priority.
“*I don’t believe Everton are planning to keep him at the club,*” he told Football Insider.
“I’ve never been convinced he’s good enough to be a regular Premier League player, I don’t think he’s consistent enough.
“He’ll have a spell in a game which catches your eye and then you won’t see him for an hour.
“Everton have got as much out of him as they could over the last two seasons, but I don’t think Moysey sees him as part of his plans.
“But if he’s leaving, it means they’re going to have to sign a new winger.
“The scouts and recruitment team have already been working on it behind the scenes, identifying potential options to replace him when he leaves.
“And then they’ve got the other winger [Lindstrom] who I think will leave too.
*“If both of them go, as it looks like they will, signing a new winger is going to have to be a priority because otherwise they’ll be short of options.*“

David Moyes planning to sign West Brom star Tom Fellows
As Everton continue to scour the transfer market in search of new wingers, Moyes has already set his sights on the signing of West Brom star Tom Fellows.
The Toffees planned to sign him during the January window, but the deal collapsed on deadline day as they could not reach an agreement with the Baggies.
Now, Brown has told Football Insider that Everton will sign Fellows in the summer as the majority of the deal has already been agreed to after their January talks.
Plans are now in place to reignite the deal come the end of the season as Moyes is a big fan of the 21-year-old and wants to add him to his squad.
