Today, Samsung started rolling out the newest security update to its smartphones. The first phones to get the March 2025 update were the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Then, the update arrived for the Galaxy S24 series. Now, the update has been released for the Galaxy Z Flip 5.
Galaxy Z Flip 5 gets March 2025 security update in Korea
The new software update that is rolling out for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 in South Korea bears firmware version F731NKSS5DYBE. It has a download size of around 415.54MB and includes the March 2025 security patch that fixes dozens of security flaws discovered by Google, Samsung, and other researchers.

If you are a Galaxy Z Flip 5 user living in South Korea, you can check your phone for the update by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and install. Samsung is expected to release the One UI 7.0 update to its high-end phones sometime late next month, and the Galaxy Z Flip 5 could be among those devices.
