Chelsea are in need of strengthening a number of positions when the transfer window opens again this summer.
One big cause for concern in this campaign has been the goalkeeper position, with both Robert Sanchez and Filip Jorgensen having spells as the number one at Stamford Bridge.
Both have unfortunately been prone to errors, and Jorgensen’s huge mistake against Aston Villa cost them a point straight after he was made Premier League number one.
It has been predicted to The Chelsea Chronicle that Sanchez won’t reclaim his place, and the Blues will be looking ahead to the upcoming transfer window to bring in a new name.

Chelsea make offer to sign Aaron Ramsdale
Enzo Maresca is demanding a new goalkeeper join the club at the end of the season, and Chelsea have been credited as interested in a number of options.
One player who has always been mentioned as a potential target is Aaron Ramsdale, ever since he was exiled from Mikel Arteta’s plans at Arsenal.
The Englishman has spent this season at Southampton, with them looking set for relegation from the Premier League.
This does not seem to have deterred Chelsea’s interest in the player though. Steve Kay has claimed Chelsea have put an offer out there to sign Ramsdale this summer.

He told KS1 TV: “Before he signed for Southampton, at the time, there were so many goalkeepers at Chelsea, and Ramsdale didn’t want that situation, he had that at Arsenal.
“Since then, there’s an offer on the table for Ramsdale to possibly go to Chelsea. Yeah, my indication is that the goalkeepers there, Sanchez and Jorgensen just aren’t up to standard, and it makes a lot of sense.”
Ramsdale denied Chelsea youngster Premier League record
Blues fans will have seen Ramsdale in action in the last Premier League game at Stamford Bridge, where they won 4-0 against Southampton.
Maresca will have been delighted to see a win come his way after a run of poor form. has seen them drop out of the top four.
He was even able to look to some of the youngsters on his bench, including teenage striker Shumaira Mheuka.
The striker came close to finding the net with his first touch, although was denied by Ramsdale from a corner.
If scoring, Mheuka would have the quickest goal for a debutant in league history, and likely earning himself more chances in the wake of a striker injury crisis in West London.
