Cardiff City are having a disastrous season with The Bluebirds only five points above the Championship relegation zone.
With only Luton Town, Plymouth Argyle and Derby County below the Welsh side, all eyes are on their weekend match-up with Sunderland to keep themselves clear of the drop to League One.
However, with Sunderland at the other end of the table in fourth, currently vying for a play-off fight for entry into the Premier League, it’s set to be a hard game for Omer Riza’s side.
Now, Cardiff have looked to bolster their attack by signing Manchester United academy striker Sekou Kaba.

Sekou Kaba joined the Manchester United academy back in 2021 from Derby County’s youth team, joining the Under-18s side in 2023.
However, this season the 17-year-old has struggled for game time, making only one cameo appearance for The Red Devils lasting all of six minutes.
Now, Cardiff are hoping to fast-track Kaba to the Under-21s side once he’s 18 at the end of the month.
Speaking to Wales Online about his move, Kaba commented: “It’s a brilliant club with amazing fans. I can’t wait to get started and I’m very happy to be here.”
He continued: “I can’t really describe the feeling, it’s a great day for me and my family. I’m excited to meet my team-mates and play in front of the fans.
“These kind of days are huge. When the opportunity comes, you just have to enjoy the moment. I’m very excited to sign for the club.”
Whilst Kaba is primarily a striker, the 17-year-old is also able to be utilised on the left-wing, bringing some more versatility to the Cardiff attack in the coming months.
