However, the unthinkable happened and they were getting humiliated by Paris Saint Germain during the match. Even Liverpool’s coach, Arne Slot have been also saying about how the team have been playing really bad and Paris Saint Germain played a lot better especially in the first half as well. Every single Paris Saint Germain players were performing so well. They literally had so many chances. However, they still could not convert them to goals to be honest. The players were frustrated and at the end Harvey Elliott scored the goal for Liverpool in the 87th minute. Paris Saint Germain literally and 10 shots on target and also 28 attempts on goal too. Alisson was the best player for Liverpool as he saved several shots from Paris Saint Germain and saved Liverpool.

Alisson was the best player for Liverpool and he saved so many shots. The player literally was the best player on the pitch and saved the team. His rating was 9.5 out of 10.

Trent Alexander Arnold was not good at all and he was 5 out of 10. Ibrahima Konate was horrendous to be honest and his rating was 4 out of 10. Virgil Van Dijk was 5 out of 10 and Andy Robertson’s rating was 5 out of 10 as well. These players were very mediocre. Ryan Gravenberch was absolutely horrendous throughout the match and his rating was 3 out of 10. Alexis MacAllister gave his best but it was still so bad and he was 5 out if 10 as well. Dominik Szoboszlai was not that good as well. His rating was 4 out of 10. Mohammed Salah was extremely bad and his rating was 3 out of 10. At the same time, Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz were both terrible as well. They were both 4 out of 10 as well. Harvey Elliott was 8 out of 10 as he scored the goal which led Liverpool to win the match.

Author’s Opinion:

I think this was a hard fought victory for Liverpool. Things could have gone differently, if Alisson did not make so many saves for Liverpool.
