After the game, DeMar DeRozan, who delivered a standout performance with 35 points and 6 rebounds, did not hold back in his criticism of the officiating, saying the referees disrupted the team's rhythm.

"The refs were terrible. Terrible as sht. It’s as simple as that,"* DeRozan said, via Sacramento Bee.

He pointed to multiple missed calls, particularly the disparity in free throws.

"Check the free-throw difference. There were plenty of times we got hit, got smacked. I took three or four shots where I was clearly fouled, but nothing was called," he noted.

DeRozan emphasized how these officiating decisions impacted the game.

"They get the same calls on the other end, and it throws off our whole rhythm. It gives them momentum at home and makes it tough for us to execute. This was a game we should have won," he concluded.

Despite the loss, the Kings remain in ninth place in the Western Conference with a 32-29 record. They have been in solid form lately, winning seven of their last ten games, as they push to strengthen their playoff position.
