Fans are excited to see what Everton will do this summer in the transfer market – and one transfer target is apparently very suited to the Toffees.
It’s been a brilliant past couple of months since David Moyes came in as Sean Dyche’s replacement.
The Scot has steered Everton clear of the relegation zone, and masterminded some brilliant performances and results.
Attention can now turn to next season, and there’s no doubt Everton will already be looking at players who could come in and do a job.
Moyes will supposedly get a healthy transfer budget to work with, and Everton can afford to spend a bit more freely this summer.
But one player who wouldn’t cost anything in terms of a transfer fee is Angel Gomes, who Everton considered signing in January.
Data analytics firm says Everton are the most suitable next club for Angel Gomes

Everton are said to be interested in Angel Gomes, who is set to leave Lille this summer.
His contract expires in a few months, so there is a bargain to be had for someone.

In the report about Everton’s interest, it was claimed that Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are also keeping tabs.
Gomes has also long been linked with Arsenal (Sky Sports), who stand to lose Thomas Partey and Jorginho on free transfers this summer.
Interestingly today, Football Transfers have run a piece on Gomes and what the immediate future could hold for him.
The basis of the story is that Gomes – who has four England caps – would be wasting his career making a return to Manchester United, the club he left to go to Lille.

But at the end of their piece, there is a graphic compiling data from analytics firm SciSports, which suggests the club would be the most suitable for Gomes – who has previously been branded ‘amazing’ by his former Manchester United teammate Anthony Elanga.
And interestingly, Everton are top of the table with a ‘Club Fit’ score of 84.
The ‘Club Fit’ score is supposedly calculated based on ‘a variety of factors ranging from potential development and playing time to style and formation’.

It is fascinating to see that Everton rank the highest in terms of next potential destinations for Gomes.
One does wonder if he’ll be a player Moyes pushes for, with Orel Mangala having suffered a serious knee injury, casting major doubt over Everton signing him permanently.
Fabrizio Romano has reported in GMS that Gomes ‘will 100% leave Lille’ this summer, and that Premier League interest in him is high.
there’s also been some interest from the Bundesliga, but Everton would surely like to hope that the youngster prefers a return to the Premier League.
