Bild (via GGFN) report that Bayern Munich will make a decision on Joshua Kimmich’s contract today, with their supervisory board to vote on the matter.
Bild claim Max Eberl and Kimmich have reached an agreement on a new contract, but the board still need to approve it. Sky Germany previously claimed that PSG had made an offer as well, with Arsenal also linked in recent days.
Kimmich himself discussed the situation on Wednesday, confirming that a call will be made one way or another before the international break.

“My plan was to make my decision before the international break,” Kimmich said. “The club didn’t want that, which is legitimate. I appreciate that they gave me a lot of time.
“It was important to get off to a good start this season after a difficult last season and build a relationship with each other again. The club now wanted to have a decision before the two games against Leverkusen.
“For me the injury complicated things a bit, without going into details. But there will be a decision soon. I don’t know if it will be between both legs [against Leverkusen], but it will definitely be before the international break at the latest.”

Sky Germany reporters Florian Plettenberg and Torben Hoffmann had claimed that Arsenal were intensifying their efforts to sign Kimmich over the last fortnight.
They wrote that Arsenal were holding concrete talks over a free transfer, wanting Kimmich as a replacement for Jorginho, whose contract also expires at the end of the season.
That report suggested Kimmich had two official offers for a transfer, with other clubs expressing their interest verbally. One of the official offers evidently came from PSG, it’s unclear whether Arsenal were the other.
Kimmich has played 37 times for Bayern this season, scoring once and assisting 10 goals in all competitions from his position as a defensive midfielder.
The 30-year-old is also a regular for Germany, captaining the side over the recent international breaks.
