'We have nothing to lose': Luis Enrique delivers message to Liverpool that Newcastle United…

**Just days before Liverpool take on Newcastle United at Wembley, they have the small matter of Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League round of 16 second leg.**

Last night, the Reds nabbed the ultimate smash and grab victory as Harvey Elliot scored in the 87th minute with his first touch of the game and Liverpool's only shot on target.

Alisson Becker kept his side in the contest with a superb display between the sticks, but now Paris Saint-Germain boss Luis Enrique has issued a stark warning ahead of the second leg.

PSG are going to be mad about losing that game last night and will be going at Liverpool from the off next week.

If PSG could make Mo Salah run himself into the ground next week that would be great

Newcastle can take a lot from Luis Enrique's warning to Liverpool

-----------------------------------------------------------------

As Enrique himself told reporters last night (via [The Chronicle](https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/psg-boss-hands-dangerous-warning-31140552)) they've got nothing to lose, and that's the exact attitude Newcastle need to adopt at Wembley too.

> "We have nothing to lose and that makes us dangerous. It is difficult to think about the match in a positive way. We deserved to win. The best player of Liverpool was their goalkeeper. Football is many times unfair. We don't have anything lose and we are ready for Liverpool. Of course, we are going to do it."

Eddie Howe needs to echo those sentiments ahead of the Carabao Cup final. We owe them for years of hurt and as we said earlier today, there are no points to play for, goal difference doesn't matter, just be fearless, go out there and attack.

We wouldn't wish injury on any player but ...

Newcastle fans will be hoping that PSG give Liverpool a really difficult game so their players are still feeling the effects on Sunday 16th.

We would never take pleasure in seeing players getting injured, but severe fatigue? Bring it on!

A wiped out Mo Salah, an exhausted Alisson and Virgil Van Dijk with cramp. That's all we ask.
