Suggestion Liverpool player’s camp don’t think Slot rates him highly enough

Curtis Jones has been a fairly regular part of Liverpool’s side this season.

The midfielder has made 23 Premier League appearances, scoring three times and assisting the same number. In all competitions, he has made 34 appearances, playing a total of 1784 minutes.

Despite that, InterLive have reported that Jones’ camp is of the opinion Arne Slot doesn’t see him as a first-choice starter.

As a result, the 24-year-old could be ‘offered by his agents’ soon and Inter Milan would be handed a chance of landing him. The midfielder’s entourage is keen on making sure that the Englishman is a first-choice and Inter could provide that opportunity, if Hakan Calhanoglu departs in the summer.

The outlet believe that Jones’ profile would be right up the Nerazzurri owners’ street, even if he is valued at €40m right now by Liverpool.

While Nicolo Rovella and Samuele Ricci are the Italian champions’ ideal targets to replace Calhanoglu, things can change if Jones becomes available in the next few months.
