Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker followed up his sensational showing against PSG by causing Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards to walk off a CBS Sports live broadcast.

After producing one of the greatest performances of his career, Alisson was instrumental in Liverpool snatching a 1-0 victory at the Parc des Princes, making nine saves to keep the French champions at bay.

Right when Liverpool looked like they were on the ropes, Alisson kept PSG at arm's length until Harvey Elliott scored a late winning goal in an unbelievable smash and grab result.

Post-match, Alisson was the centre of attention and he was interviewed by legendary Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel on American television channel CBS.

Both Carragher and Richards couldn't resist chipping in as the conversation took a lighter turn. However, Alisson was ready to spar with the pundits.

Ex-Manchester City defender Richards put Alisson on the spot with a question: "Have you seen our show Alisson? Have you seen the clips online?"

Alisson acknowledged he had. Not missing a beat, Richards asked Alisson in Portuguese who his favourite pundit was, seeing the Brazilian respond: "Nice Portuguese by the way, I think I would have to say Thierry. Legend.

"When I was growing up, I watched a lot of Arsenal in the early 2000s when he was playing. So, it was the only team that was showing on the TV in Brazil."

With Henry grinning from ear to ear, Carragher and Richards feigned frustration and huffed off the stage. Off-camera, you could hear Richards' laughter, exclaiming: "I've had enough of this."

Carragher's then labelled Liverpool's triumph in Paris as "one of the biggest robberies in football". The former Red said: "Got away with it?

"That's one of the biggest robberies you will ever see in football, that. I can't believe what I've just witnessed. PSG were absolutely outstanding and battered Liverpool.

"The last time Liverpool won this competition, Alisson Becker made a save against Napoli in the final group game of the group stage. Liverpool could have been eliminated had Napoli scored. That is always looked back on as a pivotal moment.

"That wasn't a save tonight. That was arguably the greatest performance of his career, certainly in a Liverpool shirt.

"And if Liverpool go on to win this competition – which they have a good chance of, they're a lot better than what we saw tonight – then that performance will be remembered for years to come."
