Preview

Real Madrid faces FC Barcelona in the Copa de la Reina 2024/2025 semifinals. This matchup is played in two legs and the first leg is on Alfredo Di Stefano.

There have already been 2 clásicos this season, one in the league, and one in the Supercopa Femenina final. There are 3 more to go, including this one, all of them being played in the month of March. Las Blancas haven’t scored in El Clásico since January 19th 2023 and this is their second-ever encounter in the cup, the first being in a single semifinal match in May 2022.

As for squad availability, aside from Melanie Leupolz, Teresa Abelleira, and Rocío Gálvez, there’s a new absence in the convocatoria and it’s Linda Caicedo. The youngster played 90 minutes across all 3 games in the international break with Colombia at the end of February and went on for the last 22 minutes against Athletic Club last weekend.

The kickoff is on March 6th, at 19:00 CET on Alfredo Di Stefano. The broadcast will be available for free on Teledeporte, likely needing a VPN.
