Liverpool chiefs are now deciding whether to spend relatively big on Alexander-Arnold’s potential replacement or invest in a young profile to compete and cover for Conor Bradley next season.
According to a report from The Daily Mail, Liverpool have offered Conor Bradley a new five-year contract, with boss Arne Slot earmarking him as the most likely successor for Alexander-Arnold. the 21-year-old only signed his previous contract 15 months ago, but the Merseyside club are keen to tie him down long-term amid uncertainty surrounding Alexander-Arnold’s future.
Bradley is in his second full season as a senior Liverpool player. The Northern Irishman has made 22 appearances across all competitions under Slot this campaign, which has been a bit of stop-start for him due to niggling issues.
The aforementioned report adds that the academy graduate is ready to commit his future at Anfield, and his new contract will see a significant rise in his wages. The full-back currently earns £10,000 per week, but the figure should rise to a staggering £75,000 under the terms of the new deal. This would extend his stay at the club from 2027 to 2030.

That would put Bradley on par with some of the experienced players in Slot’s squad. With both parties united in principle, there is a possibility of an agreement reaching before the end of the season.
On the back of consistent performances since returning to the club in January 2024 from loan spell with Bolton Wanderers, Bradley deserves a lucrative new contract. He may have a completely different style of play and skill set than Alexander-Arnold but his attacking and aggressive approaches makes him a perfect fit in Slot’s system.
