Copenhagen vs Chelsea LIVE!
Chelsea are in Denmark this evening as they resume their Conference League campaign against FC Copenhagen. The Blues remain heavy favourites to win Europe’s revamped tertiary club competition this season despite a worrying loss of form since the turn of the year, having easily topped the league phase table with six wins from six and 26 goals scored, with only five conceded.
Now they face a side who ended up with just two victories down in 18th place despite plenty of recent Champions League experience and needed extra time in the second leg to see off Chelsea’s former opponents Heidenheim in the knockout play-offs. Copenhagen will believe they can trouble a Chelsea team who have been wretched on the road of late, losing four away matches in a row across all competitions and without a win outside of London since mid-December.
Enzo Maresca remains without a number of key players due to injury, though Cole Palmer is now registered for the Conference League and Benoit Badiashile is also back from injury as Robert Sanchez prepares to start in goal.
