Player’s return to Bournemouth ‘seems inevitable’ – Exit hasn’t worked out at all

Max Aarons’ return to Bournemouth ‘seems inevitable’ this summer as his loan deal at Valencia simply hasn’t worked out.

That’s according to Diario de Ecija, who cover the full-back today and how he hasn’t played for a month.

They report that not everything was rosy for Valencia in the January transfer window as Aarons, who arrived on loan from Bournemouth, has not had the adaptation that everybody hoped for.

He’s only had a minor role in manager Carlos Corberán’s plans so far, with things getting off to a bad start as he made his debut in the 7-1 defeat to Barcelona.

He’s been given few opportunities to prove his worth since then and his presence in the starting 11 has been ‘intermittent’ at best. That’s left his future at Valencia ‘uncertain’ as he’s only on loan from Bournemouth.

A return to the south coast ‘seems inevitable’, despite the fact that letting him return would create something of a problem at right-back for the Spanish club.

Valencia’s sporting management have important decisions to make for next season, but it appears Aarons won’t be a part of them, as he’ll be heading back to Bournemouth.
