Tottenham step-up their intetest in 21 year old Chelsea&LFC target

Tottenham Hotspur are stepping up their interest in 21 year old star who is having a superb season in Ligue 1. He is also looked upon by their London rivals Chelsea and Premier League table toppers Liverpool.

The star in question here is Senegalese midfielder Lamine Camara. He currently plays for Monaco whom he joined in summer 2024. Camara can play as both holding and central midfielder and has been regular starter despite being only 21 years old.

The Senegal international has played 31 games this season and has been able to register 2 goals along with 6 assists. He has so far played 23 games for Senegal national team and has scored 6 goals for them along with 1 assist.

Tottenham ready to step-up their interest in Camara

Caught Offside have reported that Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham are all showing interest in Lamine Camara. As of now, Spurs are ready to step-up their interest and hence are leading the race to land the 21 year old.

The report further adds that Monaco will demand as high as €50 million for Camara. They view him as key asset and his age makes their position in the negotiations very strong. All of the English clubs do have financial muscle to get the deal done and hene the decision will come down to the player.

Chelsea do have a very vast squad depth and hence they might struggle to land Camara. They will not be able to convince the player regular game-time which mag result as turn-off point in the deal. The situation is same for Liverpool who have a very well balanced midfield.

Spurs may definately guarantee regular game-time to Camara and hence may be able to convince him. They are set for a major shakeup in summer and may spend big. The only turn-off point can be their absence from European competitions next season.
