Cabinet Chairman of Kyrgyzstan meets with President of Vietnam
AKIPRESS.COM - Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev met with President of Vietnam Luong Cuong as part of his official visit to Vietnam.
Kasymaliev conveyed greetings on behalf of President Sadyr Japarov, as well as his invitation to pay an official visit to Kyrgyzstan, the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
"We highly value the historical ties between our peoples, which are based on mutual respect, support and a common desire for justice, independence and prosperity. The Kyrgyz Republic is ready to take bilateral relations with Vietnam to a new level. I believe that it is necessary to intensify political contacts at the highest and high levels, establish regular intergovernmental consultations and facilitate the exchange of visits of official delegations to further strengthen cooperation," he said.
Luong Cuong conveyed greetings to President Sadyr Japarov. He noted the importance of strengthening and further developing bilateral relations, expressing interest in taking cooperation between the two countries to a new level.
"Your official visit to our country will open a new page in bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam," he said.
During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for deepening bilateral cooperation in various areas. Particular attention was paid to strengthening trade and economic cooperation, cultural, humanitarian and investment cooperation.
