Meet Anthony Edwards' little one.
The Minnesota Timberwolves' player is the father of one child, daughter Aislynn, who he welcomed with his girlfriend, Shannon, in March 2024.
The arrival of their firstborn came four years after the couple first made their relationship public in November 2020, the same year Edwards was selected first overall by the Timberwolves in the NBA Draft.
At the time, Shannon posted a sweet photo hugging the athlete on Instagram. โTogether forever any problem you got I got it โ๐ฝ๐,โ she captioned the post.
Shannon announced the news of her pregnancy on social media in December 2023, sharing a carousel of images including a maternity shoot showcasing her growing baby bump and an ultrasound photo of her baby's tiny foot. "Mom โ a title just above the QUEEN ๐ฏโจ AJE," she captioned the Instagram post.

Edwards and Shannon celebrated their daughter's arrival with a baby shower in February 2024, one month before her birth. The then-expecting mom posted a video on Instagram recapping the beautiful day.
Set to the tune of "Me & U" by Tems, the clip began with the couple pulling up to the venue. Edwards wore a pink hoodie, a subtle nod to his little girl, while Shannon also donned pink with a chic Chanel blazer set with feathered cuffs.
Inside the party, a baby shower sign was on display that read, "Welcome Shannon and Anthony." Glimpses of party decorations were shown in the video, including custom desserts with their baby's initials imprinted on them.

Edwards and Shannon welcomed their daughter on March 1, 2024. Their baby girl was born the same day the Timberwolves played the Sacramento Kings, when the athlete left at halftime to be with his girlfriend,
Allen Stiles, broadcaster for the Kings, reported the news at the time. "Anthony Edwards is out with his baby on the way, per the Kings broadcast," he tweeted at the time. "This now turns into a game the Kings should have the mindset to sneak a win."
Meanwhile, the Timberwolves posted an update to their social as well, writing, "Anthony Edwards (personal reasons) is OUT for the remainder of tonight's Wolves-Kings game."
Aislynn has a half-brother

While Aislynn is Edwards' firstborn, she is Shannon's second baby. Shannon shares one son, Krue, with rapper Chief Keef.
She often posts photos and videos of her son on Instagram, including supporting him at his basketball games and celebrating his big wins. In October 2022, she penned a sweet tribute to him after his football team went No. 1 in their league.

Shannon posted an Instagram tribute to her little ones as she celebrated Mother's Day in May. Alongside a carousel of images featuring her two kids, she revealed the cute nickname she calls Aislynn in the caption.
"I love you BOTH ๐ค๐ God know I needed you both!," Shannon began. "Krue my first born Thank you for growing me up Thank you for being my reason my motivation my ride or die weโve experienced it all together. In honor of Aislynn turning 1 in March 2025, Edwards shared a carousel of photos of his daughter in an Instagram post. He kept his caption short and simple, writing, "Aisy Paisy!!! ๐๐๐."
Shannon also shared several photos of Aislynn all dressed up in a ladybug dress on Instagram in honor of the milestone.
"Happy FIRST BIRTHDAY ๐๐๐!! Words canโt describe how much youโve brought us peace ,waking up to your smile every morning is like a breathe of fresh air !! Iโm so happy to call you MY daughter OUR ladybug & your daddys 'Aisy Paisy' !" she wrote.
