The Jacksonville Jaguars signed Mitch Morse to a 2-year, $10.5 million contract last offseason. Morse competed with former third-round pick Luke Fortner for the starting center job and won. He had a solid first season in Jacksonville, performing well in pass protection, but took a slight step back in production in run blocking. He surrendered 14 pressures, nine hurries, two QB hits, and three sacks allowed, posting a 61.9 pass blocking, a 55.0 run blocking, and a 57.3 overall PFF grade in 17 starts.
The Pro Bowl center, who turns 33 in April, is in the final year of his contract. He is scheduled to earn a $4.3 million base salary along with a $5.4 million cap hit in 2025.

“The things I’ll remember and cherish most about my career are the relationships and bonds I created with my teammates, both on and off of the field. Nothing can replace that, and I will miss it dearly.
“I want to thank the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars for ten unforgettable seasons. Most of all, I want to thank my wife, Caitlin, and my children Kennedy and Deacon for their constant love and support on this journey. I look forward to spending more time with them as I navigate retirement.”
