One of the NFL’s greatest mysteries seemingly has been solved.

Former star cornerback Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones has revealed how he was able to cheat his way through NFL drug tests throughout his 12-year pro career.
Speaking on Tubi’s We Got Time Today, Jones told Colorado football coach and NFL legend Deion Sanders that the answer is actually quite simple: He never used his own urine.
“I cheated the program,” Jones said, as quoted by USA Today. “Like I was really good. People don’t know how smart I am, but like, I can say it now. I don’t play no more. But like, I’ve never used my (urine) for a (urine) test. Not one time. Not one time.”

Sanders, one of the best cornerbacks in football history, insisted that Jones’ scheme wouldn’t work now because administrators have need to personally verify each test.
“The reason it can’t because they go in there with you right now,” Sanders said. “No, no. They go in there and watch you pull out.”
However, Jones remained confident that the system can be beaten.

“It can happen if you know what you’re doing,” Jones told Sanders. “Don’t say it can’t happen, pop. Hey pop, don’t say it can’t happen. You still can get ’em.”
Sanders, who is devoutly religious with a reputation for clean living, has frequently warned his charges about smoking marijuana, which is legal in Colorado.
Coach Prime tried to shut down Jones when the former Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals star tried to offer suggestions on how to beat league drug tests.
“Nope, nope, nope,” Sanders said.

“The cups they give you …” Jones began before being interrupted again.
It has long been debated how Jones was able to avoid testing positive for marijuana during his playing days, admittedly having smoked before playing in games. He has been a proponent of marijuana for years and stressed to Sanders that THC, the drug’s active ingredient, is not a performance enhancer.
“They’re giving guys opiates, pain pills, muscle relaxers; you’re telling me that a guy that’s smoking THC that it’s helping him perform more, or are you telling me is it helping his body?’ Jones asked.
As the drug becomes legalized in more and more states, the NFL also has stopped testing for it.
