Stephen Curry has been hot in the NBA conversation as of late.
After scoring 28 points and adding seven rebounds and nine assists as the Golden State Warriors took down the New York Knicks in a recent matchup, Shaquille O'Neal opened up a massive Curry talking point.
"I played with LeBron (James), with Kobe (Bryant), against MJ (Michael Jordan). Start putting Stephen Curry in the G.O.A.T. conversation," O'Neal said.
This was quite a steep statement for Shaq to make. However, it did spark a conversation. Many different pundits and fans have joined in and made their feelings more than known.
Curry is a four-time NBA champion with two MVP trophies under his belt, also securing the Finals MVP in the club's recent title victory.
On top of a highly decorated resume, Curry transformed the game of basketball around the world. He was influential as to how the NBA is played across the league, and how many develop their game coming up through youth basketball.
For Curry's teammate -- Draymond Green, who has been with the team his entire career -- the generational guard "100%" belongs in the greatest of all time conversation.
Green weighs in on Curry conversation
Recently speaking on "The Draymond Green Show," the Warriors forward got quite candid as to his stance on the conversation about Curry being in the GOAT conversation.
"With all due respect to LeBron, Michael Jordan, and Shaq, there's no one in the history of the NBA that has been schemed against and guarded the way Steph Curry is guarded," Green explained.

Without high-flying athleticism or extreme size, Curry has certainly been the most skilled player in the history of basketball.
Working around being a shorter guard and having to lean into skill over athleticism or size, Curry has garnered one of the most impressive resumes in NBA history.
Green has a point, too. No player has been guarded like Curry has in the history of the association.
