Three Manchester United executives are to leave their roles
Three senior executives have left Manchester United as the club's extensive overhaul behind the scenes continues.
The Red Devils' executive leadership has undergone drastic changes since Ineos chief, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, acquired a minority stake in the club last year and pressed ahead with an extensive strategic review.
Several high-profile figures, including former chief executive officer, Richard Arnold, and the club's football director, John Murtough, have departed in recent times.
And it's now been confirmed by The Athletic that the club’s head of human resources Annie Hale, the club’s commercial director Florence Lafaye and James Holroyd, United's current commercial development officer, will be leaving their roles.

While it's stressed in the report that these high-profile departures are not linked to the further planned redundancies that the club announced recently, Hale has overseen the previous round of staff exits, which saw 250 people laid off in the summer. A further 200 are expected to follow in the coming months, as outlined last month.
Crucially, Hale is expected to 'see through' the club's latest redundancy plans as Ratcliffe and Ineos strive to make the club profitable again with further cuts.
The departures of Hale, Lafaye and Holroyd mean that Collette Roche, the club's chief operating officer, is the only surviving member of the old executive leadership team.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe
Sir Jim Ratcliffe has overseen a number of changes to the club's executive leadership team
Ratcliffe and his team have strived to make a number of 'best in class' off field appointments since buying into the club. Among those who have joined United during his tenure include Omar Berrada, the club's current CEO, and technical director, Jason Wilcox.
Berrada explained the club's latest redundancy plans last month, saying in a statement: “We have a responsibility to put Manchester United in the strongest position to win across our men’s, women’s and academy teams. We are initiating a wide-ranging series of measures which will transform and renew the club.
“Unfortunately, this means announcing further potential redundancies and we deeply regret the impact on those affected colleagues. However, these hard choices are necessary to put the club back on a stable financial footing.
“We have lost money for the past five consecutive years. This cannot continue. Our two main priorities as a club are delivering success on the pitch for our fans and improving our facilities. We cannot invest in these objectives if we are continuously losing money.
“At the end of this process, we will have a more lean, agile and financially sustainable football club, while continuing to provide a world class service to our valuable commercial partners. We will then be in a much stronger position to invest in football success and improved facilities for fans, while remaining compliant with UEFA and Premier League regulations.”
