Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw against Real Sociedad in the first leg of the Europa League’s Round of 16.
Joshua Zirzkee’s opening goal must have given Ruben Amorim the much-needed hope that his United side can get the all-important win.
However, Mikel Oryzabal equalised from the penalty spot to hand Real Sociedad a hard-fought draw against Manchester United.
Manchester City fans would have been delighted to witness the Red Devils succumb to a draw as their season goes from bad to worse.
But what would have delighted City supporters is seeing how Real Sociedad fans mocked Manchester United.

Real Sociedad fans do the Poznan after making it 1-1 vs Manchester United
Oyarzabal brought Sociedad back into a game with a well-struck penalty as he sent Andre Onana to the wrong side.
The Spanish side were handed the spot-kick in the first place as the ball struck Bruno Fernandes’ arm, albeit from a very close distance.
But Real Sociedad fans were over the moon after Oyarzabal made it 1-1 as they did the ‘Poznan’ celebration in the crowd to mock Manchester United.
Much like City fans do so at the Etihad Stadium, Sociedad supporters did the same as they put their arms around one another’s shoulders and jumped in unison. The fan taunt was adopted by the Sky Blues faithful after witnessing Lech Poznan fans do so during a 3-1 defeat against City in the Europa League back in 2010.
The celebration has certainly gone global since then, considering Real Sociedad fans have now the Poznan against Manchester United.

However, the fan taunt is not just restricted to supporters.
Even players can join in, like a certain Erling Haaland did in the Manchester Derby.
When City beat United 3-1 last season, Haaland was spotted doing the Poznan as well followed by a cheeky smile.
Sociedad fans have now done the same as Ruben Amorim will be gutted after another frustrating night of football for them.
Perhaps Manchester City and Real Sociedad fans will have a lifelong bond due to how both sets of supporters have now done the Poznan against Manchester United.
