Rúben Amorim has chosen to select Rasmus Højlund as Manchester United line up to face Real Sociedad in the first leg of a crunch Europa League knockout clash.
Rúben Amorim will be hoping his Manchester United side can maintain their strong Europa League form as they take on Real Sociedad in the knockout stage.
Despite their struggles in the Premier League and a recent FA Cup exit, United have won all three of their European matches under the Portuguese coach and now face La Liga opposition in the round of 16.
The first leg will be played in San Sebastián on Thursday evening, with the return fixture at Old Trafford a week later.
With their domestic campaign faltering and FA Cup hopes dashed, winning the Europa League offers United their best chance of securing a place in next season’s Champions League.
The XIs have been confirmed below, with Amorim starting Rasmus Højlund as part of the attacking line.
