Everton appear to have already started their planning ahead of the summer transfer window, with the Championship a potential destination for their shopping.
With Everton now all but safe from relegation, those behind the scenes will already be hard at work to ensure that the summer is as successful as possible on Merseyside.
David Moyes has already showcased his ability to get Everton competing in the Premier League, but TFG simply have to back the Scotsman in the summer if they are to progress further.
Thankfully, it appears as though they will be doing just that amid links to one of the highest rated players at Sunderland this season.

Sunderland defender on Everton radar ahead of summer window
Defensively, Everton have impressed massively since the appointment of Moyes, and it appears as though they will be looking to strengthen that even further in the summer.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
According to a report from Sunderland AFC News (6 March), Dennis Cirkin is of interest to the Toffees, though any likelihood of a deal may hinge on whether or not the Black Cats get promoted.
With that said, Cirkin would be an excellent addition for Moyes’ side, with his ability to operate at left back or at centre back depending on the system adopted.

Cirkin is a key player for Sunderland
Jose Mourinho, having previously worked with him at Tottenham, described him as a “kid with a lot of quality” when talking to Football London back in 2019.
Reinforcements will be a necessity in the summer window, and if Everton can secure deals for the likes of Cirkin, it would be excellent business given his ability to contribute immediately, while also having an immense amount of potential to grow even further as a player.

Moyes must be backed this summer
Having already showcased his ability to make major improvements on the pitch, Moyes simply must be given a helping hand when it comes to recruitment for that progress to blossom even further.
For far too long now, Everton have been battling it out at the wrong end of the table, and if TFG are able to invest in quality this summer, that can be put to a stop, and the Toffees can get back to challenging for trophies and European qualification.
