Wolves and Everton will square off at Molineux on the weekend as both clubs look to distance themselves from the relegation zone.
Vitor Pereira comes into Saturday’s home game following consecutive league defeats. David Moyes, on the other hand, has revolutionised Everton since returning.
The Toffees haven’t lost a Premier League game since mid-January, and, despite their bottom half position, will be one of Wolves’ toughest challenges yet.
Interestingly, despite Everton thumping the Old Gold 4-0 in the reverse fixture in December, the head-to-head form guide is on the home team’s side…

Molineux has been a fortress for Wolves when they’ve hosted Everton
As mentioned above, Everton are one of the country’s most in-form teams.
Despite being candidates to be relegated earlier in the season, Moyes’ return has helped them go unbeaten in the league in their last seven games.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
Wolves cannot boast anywhere near the same kind of form, but with so much at stake sitting just five points clear of the drop, they will be determined to take something from the Toffees, and to help their chances, Rodrigo Gomes could return to action.
In addition to Gomes returning to training, Pereira will feel his side has a great chance of avoiding defeat due to the side’s recent history against each other.
As per BBC Sport, Wolves have suffered just one defeat in their last seven Premier League home matches against Everton (W3 D3). The same fixture last season saw the Old Gold secure a convincing 3-0 win.
Leicester City and Ipswich Town could hand Vitor Pereira another lifeline
Although Wolves have the better recent record and will be trying their hardest to keep that run going, should the worst happen, they could still find themselves five clear of the drop.
Both on 17 points, Ipswich Town and Leicester City have incredibly tough fixtures in Game Week 28.
Both sides travel to London for tricky games that neither will be expected to take anything from. Kieran McKenna’s Tractor Boys take on Crystal Palace on Saturday with Chelsea hosting Ruud van Nistelrooy’s Foxes the following day.
Failure to pick up points against their London rivals will see both remain the odds-on favourites to go down with Southampton.
For Wolves, avoiding defeat against Everton is important, but Pereira could once again find results elsewhere going in his side’s favour.
