New Orleans Saints Announce Their Coaching Staff For 2025 Season

On Thursday afternoon, the New Orleans Saints officially announced their coaching staff for the 2025-26 NFL season.

New head coach Kellen Moore will lead the way. Moore, 36, is the youngest head coach in New Orleans franchise history and the youngest coach in the NFL. This past season, he was the offensive coordinator for the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.

Moore will be joined by several assistants that have worked with him before on the offensive side. He also has a prior working relationship with new defensive coordinator Brandon Staley.

• Doug Nussmeier (coordinator)

• Joel Thomas (RBs/associate HC)

• T.J. Paganetti (run game coordinator)

• Scott Linehan (Sr. offensive asst.)

• Scott Tolzien (QBs)

• Keith Williams (WRs)

• Chase Haslett (TEs)

• Brendan Nugent (offensive line)

• Jahri Evans (asst. O-line)

• Kyle Valero (asst. WRs)

• Mike Martinez (asst. to HC)

Jahri Evans and Keith Williams return from last year's staff. Brendan Nugent and Joel Thomas are back after previous stints with the team. Haslett is the son of Jim Haslett, Saints head coach from 2000-2005.

• Brandon Staley (coordinator)

• Terry Joseph (Def. pass game coordinator)

• Bo Davis (Def. line)

• Peter Sirmon (LBs)

• Grady Brown (CBs)

• Robert Blanton (asst. DBs)

• Jay Rodgers (edge rushers)

• Brian Young (asst. def. line)

• Peter Giunta (Sr. def. asst.)

• Adam Gristick (asst. LBs)

Only Young and Giunta return for a defensive unit that plummeted in the rankings. Staley brings plenty of experience. However, most of the position coaches have had most or all of their success at the collegiate level.

Saints Special Teams Coaches:

• Phil Galiano (coordinator)

• Kyle Wilber (asst. ST)

• Ted Rath (Director of Sports Performance)

• Charles Byrd (strength asst.)

• Riley Ireland (strength asst.)

Galiano returns to step up in for Darren Rizzi. The promotion makes sense, as the Saints attempt to maintain one of the NFL's best special teams squads.
