Kyrgyzstan and Turkey discuss cooperation and scheduled visits
AKIPRESS.COM - Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey Ruslan Kazakbaev met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Ayse Berris Ekinci, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
The parties discussed the state and prospects for the development of bilateral political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
The schedule of visits and meetings at the highest and high levels was reviewed, plans for holding joint events were discussed, including within the framework of Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship in the Organization of Turkic States.
The Ambassador and the Deputy Minister considered issues of cooperation between the countries in the field of education, medicine and increasing mutual trade turnover.
They also touched upon issues of further strengthening cooperation within the UN, such as promotion of Kyrgyzstan's candidacy for non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council for 2027-2028.
