Washington Commanders Roster Moves: Bobby Wagner re-signed to 1-year deal

Future Hall of Fame LB Bobby Wagner is returning to the Washington Commanders on a 1-year deal that's worth up to $9.5 million with $8 million guaranteed. Wagner was signed to a 1-year deal last off-season as Washington tried to stabilize the roster left behind by Ron Rivera with some veteran leadership. Wagner provided that and more as he went on to earn Pro Bowl and second-team All-Pro selections.

Washington brings Bobby Wagner back to pair with Frankie Luvu, and continue to mentor young players like Jordan Magee who was drafted in the 5th round last year, but dealt with a few injuries. Wagner will turn 35 in June, and has definitely slowed down from his days in Seattle working under their former DC, and current Commanders HC, Dan Quinn.

The #Commanders are re-signing standout LB Bobby Wagner, as the leader and playmaker is back with Washington, per me and @MikeGarafolo.
