The Los Angeles Lakers are set to face the New York Knicks on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden.
Los Angeles enters the game as one of the hottest teams in the NBA, sitting at No. 7 in the Western Conference standings. They currently boast a 39-21 record, riding a seven-game win streak.
Before the Lakers take on the Knicks in the primetime matchup, the official injury report was released, revealing that Austin Reaves will make his return after previously suffering a calf injury, per Jovan Buha at The Athletic.
Buha also announced the availability of LeBron James (left foot injury management) and Luka Doncic (right knee contusion), both of whom will play against New York.
Reaves originally went down with a calf strain during a matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers on March 1. He has since missed one game for the Lakers, a 136-115 win over the New Orleans Pelicans.
So far this season, Reaves has averaged 19.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game. Reaves has served as a consistent offensive threat for the Lakers, sitting behind James and Doncic in terms of points and assists per game.
Following the matchup against the Knicks, the Lakers will have another primetime showdown on March 9 against the Boston Celtics.
