Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry has been looking revitalized more than midway through his 16th NBA season. Entering Thursday's game against the Brooklyn Nets, Curry was averaging 28.9 points, 6.9 assists and 4.4 rebounds in his last 10 games.
Curry's strong play, along with the addition of Jimmy Butler, has helped the Warriors ascend up the Western Conference standings and grab the sixth seed. Continuing their impressive run, the Warriors defeated Brooklyn on Thursday, again aided by a big night from Curry.
Finishing with 40 points and seven made threes, Curry led the Warriors to another big win.
Despite this being a road game for Golden State, Curry had the support of Barclays Center. The Brooklyn crowd made its appreciation known for Golden State's superstar, delivering a clear message as he toed the free throw line.

Curry is no stranger to MVP chants in away arenas, as this has been a regular occurrence for the NBA's all-time leader in made threes. A fan favorite, Curry captivates home and road crowds with his unparalleled shooting ability.
With 40 points on Thursday, Curry notched his 15th 30-point game of the season. This one led Golden State to its 35th win on the season, creating some slight breathing above the seventh seed Minnesota Timberwolves.
As for Brooklyn, the loss was its 41st on the season. The Nets entered Thursday as the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference standings, and are likely not postseason bound despite being within three losses of the play-in tournament.
