Deion Sanders Posts Powerful Message as Shedeur Sanders’ NFL Draft Stock Plummets

Deion Sanders and his son, former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders, are currently preparing for the 2025 NFL Draft process.

As Shedeur Sanders gears up for Colorado's Pro Day, following his decision to decline participating in the NFL Draft Combine, his draft stock has plummeted.

Shedeur Sanders has been widely regarded as one of the best quarterbacks prospects since the conclusion of the college football season, with many experts viewing the former Colorado star as a Top 3 pick.

Despite the early praise, Shedeur Sanders is now being graded as a late first-round pick or a second-round pick by experts across NFL media. A recent mock draft by CBS Sports has Shedeur Sanders being selected with the No. 22 overall pick by the Cleveland Browns.

Amid Shedeur Sanders' falling draft stock, Deion Sanders took to social media.

"Hadn't they learned by now that GOD has us covered!" Deion Sanders said.

In Shedeur Sanders' final season with the Buffaloes, the Colorado quarterback posted 37 touchdowns and 4,134 yards with a 74.0 completion percentage. While he wasn't a Heisman finalist, Shedeur Sanders was listed in the Top 10 voting for the prestigious award.

Shedeur Sanders led Colorado to a 9-4 record, ranked as the No. 4 team in the Big 12 standings, behind Arizona State, Iowa State and BYU.
