Former Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper has returned to work after his Leicester City sacking, taking on a role as a technical observer for UEFA.
Cooper, who was dismissed from his role at the King Power Stadium after just 12 Premier League games in November, was reportedly on duty for Inter Milan's Champions League victory at Feyenoord on Wednesday night.
UEFA's technical observers, which have this season included the likes of Gareth Southgate, Roberto Martinez, Rafa Benitez and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, watch, analyse, and report on games from a coach's perspective.
They also choose the official player of the match, with Cooper selecting Inter striker Lautaro Martinez.
The Argentinian scored the second goal of Inter's 2-0 first-leg win, one that sets them up well to make the quarter-finals.
Since leaving City last November, Cooper has been linked with a couple of managerial jobs, most notably at Championship side Cardiff, but he remains without a club.
However, his right-hand man at Swansea, Forest and City, analyst-coach Steve Rands, is back in work in club football, joining Borussia Dortmund.
The German side are also in Champions League contention, drawing their last-16 first leg 1-1 with Lille.
Cooper took 10 points from his 12 City matches, with his successor Ruud van Nistelrooy so far earning just seven points from his 14 fixtures in charge.
City were outside the drop zone at the time of Cooper's sacking, but with the likes of Everton and Wolves improving their form in recent months, the club are now five points adrift of safety with 11 matches to play.
