H.E. Ambassador Cao Xiaolin published a signed article on Al Jazeera Arabic website titled _The U.S. 'Gaza Prescription' Is Not Conducive to Peace_" on March 5. The article points out that the U.S. plan to "clean out" and "take over" Gaza poses a serious threat to peace and stability in the Middle East. Gaza is the homeland of the Palestinian people and an inseparable part of Palestinian territory, not a "large real estate plot" for sale or trade, nor should it become a victim of international political maneuvering.

If the U.S. were to "take over" Gaza and forcibly relocate its residents, it would constitute a blatant seizure of Palestinian land, a grave violation of Palestinian sovereignty, and a serious breach of international law and the global order. Such actions would further escalate tensions and conflicts between Israel and Palestine, potentially causing a historic setback in the peace process.
As a permanent member of the UN Security Council and a responsible major Country, China will continue to actively contribute to resolving the Palestinian issue. China supports the implementation of the "two-state solution" and remains committed to promoting a comprehensive, just, and lasting resolution to the Palestinian issue.
