On March 5, Ambassador Zhao Xiyuan met with James Browne T.D., Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage.
Ambassador Zhao said that the current China-Irish relations maintain a positive momentum and the two countries have close high-level exchanges. China appreciates Ireland's positive attitude in developing bilateral relations and is willing to work together to promote more achievements in practical cooperation in various fields between the two countries.
Minister Browne said that the Irish government attaches great importance to its relations with China and he looks forward to visiting China during this year's St. Patrick's Day to further promote mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
