William Saliba has been offered a new contract by Arsenal which will elevate him to the ranks of one of the top earners in the Premier League.
The 23 year old last deal was signed in 2023, and lasts until 2027, with the option of a further year. That is estimated to give him ₤190,000 a week, but his new contract would see that rise to ₤250,000, putting him among the top earners at the club alongside Martin Ødegaard and Kai Havertz.
The Gunners are determined to fend off interest from Saliba from Real Madrid, who have made him one of their main summer transfer targets. Despite that, Saliba has expressed no interest in leaving North London and recently committed his future to the club.
They also want to ensure that their centre-back pairing remains intact for the foreseeable future, with fellow defender Gabriel Magalhaes also in line for a new contract.
