Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards deserves a better-looking signature shoe.
Edwards is undoubtedly one of the top shooting guards and players in the NBA. The 23-year-old is in the midst of arguably the best season of his five-year NBA career.
Through the T-Wolves' first 64 games of the year, Ant-Man is averaging 27.5 points per game, along with 5.9 rebounds and 4.6 assists, while shooting a career-high 40 percent from three-point range.
Perhaps the best thing about Edwards is that he is obsessed with getting better each year. To be honest, we wish that were the case for his signature shoe from Adidas.
We haven't seen the full reveal, but based on the sneak peak adidas leaked and Complex Sneakers picked up on, the AE 2 may have one of the oddest designs I've ever seen. Take a look:

I don't know what to make of the huge black vent-like piece on the top, bordered by yellow, that spans down to the midsole. Perhaps it's the autumn-themed colorway that's throwing me off, but it will be hard to see this as an attractive shoe in any color.
The saving grace could be the comfort. The AE1s are one of the best basketball sneakers released from a comfort and performance standpoint. Let's hope the AE2 delivers substance to compensate for a lack of beauty.
