Sources: Leeds United in potential Jack Harrison U-turn after MLS transfer interest

Jack Harrison’s future is firmly up in the air as three possible destinations await the winger in the summer.

That’s the current field of play as Leeds United, Everton, and a possible transfer back to the MLS could be in the works for the 28-year-old.

Harrison could opt for an MLS return but so far it’s undecided what the view is on his future.

It’s not looking good for the winger in England as Everton fans don’t want to sign Harrison, which leaves him left out in the dark.

It seems like it’s down to Leeds to make their decision, and it could be one the Whites faithful are unsure on.

Leeds United in potential Jack Harrison U-Turn amid MLS interest

Harrison certainly had a good time with Leeds, and his Everton loan move was deserved, but it seems like the Premier League and England as a whole might not connect with the winger anymore.

It was previously mentioned that Harrison could return to Leeds, but nothing has been decided.

With all things considered, it seems like the 49ers have made a decision.

Speaking exclusively to LeedsUnited.News, Graeme Bailey has revealed what step is next for Harrison with the interest from the MLS and it will bring mixed reviews from Leeds fans.

“He’d have to be a DP (designated player). We know he likes it over there (USA). There is contact over there, I wouldn’t rule it out, but he’s on a very large wage in the Premier League,” Bailey said.

“He’s got until 2028 at Leeds; it would be very difficult for an MLS club to sign him, and he’d have to be a DP player – and there aren’t many DP slots available.

“I wouldn’t rule it out, but I’m not sure about that.

“Leeds have a good squad, but when you get a player with Premier League experience in Harrison, I wouldn’t rule him out of a return to Leeds.”

Leeds may have no choice but to keep Harrison at Elland Road

It’s not a good scenario when you don’t know what’s next for you in your footballing career, but Harrison currently has two fanbases seemingly putting off the idea of keeping him.

Daniel Farke could keep Harrison in a move that would no doubt shock Whites fans.

With this considered, it could mean the MLS is the best possible destination for Harrison’s career as, unfortunately, his place at Leeds or Everton doesn’t look secured, but this is irrelevant.

Who knows what will happen, but with Harrison’s excessive wage, it seems unsustainable for Leeds to keep hold of him, but they may have no choice.
