The Los Angeles Lakers won their eighth straight game with a 113-109 overtime win against the New York Knicks on Thursday night in LA.
LeBron James scored 31 points with 12 rebounds and eight assists as Luka Doncic dropped 32 points with 12 assists and seven rebounds in another strong showing.
The Lakers finish their six-game homestand with some huge wins and move to 40-21 on the year as they trend in the right direction.
As usual in LA, big names make their way to Crypto.com Arena to watch the Lakers. On Thursday night, TV personality Stephen A. Smith was there on the same day he signed a five-year deal worth $100 million with ESPN.
However, cameras caught an interaction between James and Smith.
During halftime, James was seen saying some words to Stephen A. Smith.

It appears this incident happened during halftime when a fan hit a half-court shot to win a $100,000 prize.
It is unclear what James said to Stephen A., although one fan speculated it might have been about his son, Bronny James.
'"Keep my sons name outta this" if I had to put my lip reader glasses on,"' one fan said.
"Yeah dis about Bronny," said another.
"And he's right again… Stephen A criticized lebron's son and his fatherhood," another wrote.
Smith has been critical of Bronny and LeBron before, so fans are pointing in that direction.

Still, it was quite the moment between James and Stephen A., and the Lakers superstar was clearly upset about something.
